Attitude is Everything “To love what you do and feel that it matters—how could anything be more fun?” - Katherine Graham As I talk to candidates and clients it never ceases to amaze me how many people are not are happy, satisfied or in any way fulfilled with their jobs or careers. Over the years I have learned that happiness or comfort is a state of mind. Having spent a number of years in the Army and many nights in a pup tent sleeping on the ground I learned that I could be quite happy and comfortable if I was dry and had something to eat. On the other hand in the corporate world I could be dry and have a lot to eat and not be happy or comfortable. It is simply a matter of your attitude and how you react to your environment.
